Sat: Bayern 6-0 Augsburg (Lewandowski 17 55 79, Müller 36 80, Thiago Alcántara 62)
Robert Lewandowski took his tally to 44 goals in 43 games this season as Bayern maintained their 13-point lead at the Bundesliga summit. Thomas Müller’s recent scoring revival continued, too, after the German international was twice denied by the woodwork. Manuel Neuer missed only his second game of the season following foot surgery.

Sun: Real Madrid 3-0 Alavés (Benzema 31, Isco 85, Nacho 88)
Real Madrid triumphed without sparkling after Karim Benzema opened the scoring to ensure he has now found the net against every Liga side he has faced. Nacho rounded off the win with his first Liga effort since January 2015, but it was not all good news for Zinédine Zidane’s men as Raphaël Varane left the action early with an apparent hamstring problem upon his return from injury.

Sun: Napoli 1-1 Juventus (Hamšík 60; Khedira 7)
Sami Khedira’s fifth Serie A goal this term was not enough to hand Juve a 14th win in 15 games in all competitions, Marek Hamšík pegging the Bianconeri back late on to leave them six points clear at the top. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon made his 615th league outing, putting him joint-second on the all-time list alongside Javier Zanetti – with Paolo Maldini (647) out in front.

Sun: Granada 1-4 Barcelona (Boga 50; L Suárez 44, Alcácer 64, Saunier 83og, Neymar 90+1)
Missing the suspended Lionel Messi, Barcelona overcame a slight scare when Granada equalised after the break to stay within two points of Liga pacesetters Real Madrid, having played one game more. Luis Suárez chipped in a sublime opener for the Blaugrana, before Neymar capped the victory with his 100th goal for the club.
